Smith’s began with a straightforward but ambitious question: why shouldn’t hotels, restaurants, and cafés in Bangladesh enjoy the same standards of coffee and kitchen engineering found in the best operations around the world? What started as a personal passion for coffee equipment and café operations soon grew into a mission to elevate the entire HoReCa landscape—front and back of house.
In the early years, our focus was simple: help create better coffee. We worked with early adopters, importing professional espresso machines, grinders, and brewing tools, and training baristas to serve cups that could stand beside those from any global city. As more cafés opened and guests’ expectations rose, it became clear that great coffee alone was not enough; the whole operation—from kitchen line to dishwash, from bar to breakfast buffet—needed the same level of thought, reliability, and design.
That realization transformed Smith’s from a coffee specialist into a complete HoReCa solutions partner.
